Ashley Malley, B.A.

Ashley Malley, B.A. is a second year Doctoral LEND Fellow.  Ashley joined JFK Partners in Summer of 2017 as a second year Doctor of Audiology student at the University of Colorado Boulder.  She grew up in Mississippi where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from The University of Southern Mississippi.  In her first year as a Fellow, she worked with three LEND Fellows to develop visual activity schedules and video models to help facilitate audiological testing for children with autism.  She also worked with SLP students in a program called “Story of Friendship,” which facilitates goal orientation and friendship development in young children with Autism. During her second year of training with JFK Partners, Ashley plans to work more closely with children with Autism, looking at novel ways to test their hearing utilizing modified play methods.  Ashley is looking forward to another year as a LEND Fellow where she will continue to learn valuable clinical skills and develop relationships with the professionals at JFK partners.
