Information for Parents/Families and Providers on Developmental Milestones in Languages other than English

Families/Parents are often not familiar with developmental milestones that are considered important in the country in which they live.  Information is available in many different languages to help families/parents understand how developmental progress is monitored and identify red flags for developmental delay.

Information can be accessed from the websites below and also by individual languages.

Developmental milestones in the following languages for ages 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years

In developmental areas;  Social/Emotional, Language/Communication, Cognitive ( learning, thinking, problems solving), Movement/Physical Development

Languages:  English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Haitian Creole,  Somali, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean
