Receptive Language Subtest
The receptive language subtest is also called the Comprehension-Conceptual subtest. The items on this subtest are about the child’s ability to understand the language spoken or signed to them. These items contain questions about vocabulary, and abstract uses of vocabulary such as jokes, understanding the meaning of present and past tense, plurals (syntax-morphology), and telling stories.
